Our fourth Southwest Michigan Jewish Film Festival will bring thought-provoking and entertaining films from around the world to a screen near you!  Every two years since 2009, we bring the best of Jewish film to the Kalamazoo area, which include comedies, dramas, and insightful documentaries.  This year we’ll screen films in new venues, partner with other community organizations, and give you the opportunity to see more films over a week’s time than during our past festivals.

We want to strengthen awareness of Jewish identity, history, and culture, and bring together film lovers.  The Festival is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan, which has been very supportive of our efforts since day one. Our planning committee is made up of representatives from Temple B’nai Israel and the Congregation of Moses in Kalamazoo.  We reach out, however, to the entire Southwest Michigan region, including Battle Creek, South Haven,Three Rivers, and beyond.
